2. Story, Essay, and Content Submissions
If you submit a story, essay, video, article, testimonial, comment, or other content to Nurse Point Magazine, StikTalk, or RTI, we may use your submission for editorial, educational, promotional, marketing, social media, newsletter, website, or publication purposes, subject to the applicable submission terms.
Depending on the submission form and your preferences, we may publish your name, initials, credentials, city, state, biography, photo, story, essay, video, or excerpts from your submission.
If you request anonymous publication, we may publish your submission using initials or another limited identifier, where applicable. However, we may still collect and retain your full contact information internally for review, verification, recordkeeping, rights management, and communication purposes.
Please do not submit confidential patient information, protected health information, patient-identifying details, or information that would violate HIPAA or other applicable privacy laws. Submissions that include confidential patient information or violate applicable privacy requirements may be rejected, edited, removed, or destroyed.
3. Sensitive Information
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a specific RTI program, contest, publication, legal requirement, or business purpose.
Because StikTalk and Nurse Point Magazine may involve healthcare-related stories, you should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information, including patient-identifying information, protected health information, medical records, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or government identification numbers.

RTI is not asking users to submit protected health information or confidential patient information through StikTalk, Nurse Point Magazine, or related forms.
If you submit a healthcare-related story, you are responsible for ensuring that your submission does not identify a patient or violate HIPAA, patient confidentiality obligations, employer policies, or other applicable privacy laws.
Do not include patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth, contact information, photos, unique identifying details, or other information that could identify a patient.
